Uncertainty estimate of a split-core Rogowski coil for high AC current

Abstract

The use of Rogowski coil for metrology purposes is investigated. This paper discusses processes influencing the measurement uncertainty, proposes solutions to reduce their effect, and gives estimates on the magnitude of the resulting uncertainties. The aim of this work is to study the applicability of a split-core Rogowski coil for power frequency calibration on currents from 10 A to 10 kA.
