    Abstract

The paper presents the Decision Point framework to support structuring and analysing decision making in the industrial service business development. The framework is used here to analyse an industrial business to business service case, by looking closer into transition from one service level to another. Used model provides a new tool to better comprehend decision making in organizations by making decisions more visible and explicable. It is different from the decision process methods and person centric models by focusing into the elements of a decision itself. Also analysing the steps of industrial service evolution in an organization through decision making in transition points is new and provides valuable insight into the topical issue of service business development.
