    Abstract

The implemented virtual cockpit simulator consisted of seat, driving wheel, control buttons and joysticks, tricking system and head mounted display. The controls were selected depending on the simulator application. A personal computer was used for control data acquisition and transferring data to graphic workstation. Specialised simulation software with a virtual reality module was used to create the virtual environment application. The simulator was used for ergonomics and safety analysis of machine cockbits by simulating the work cycles and the machine operation.
