Abstract
According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for manufacturing a multi-ply fibre web structure from a cellulose-based material by combining two different web layer forming technologies, a foam-laid process and a dry-laid or an air-laid process, and wet-pressing thereby formed web layers together. Also described is a multi-ply fibre web structure manufactured by such method.
