    Abstract

Care robots have been in some studies associated with negative attitudes and low acceptance. Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) is an idea of how roles responsibilities should be rearranged in research and innovation to strive for social acceptability and desirability of new technologies. This workshop paper shortly presents the principles and framework of RRI and discusses its implementation in the context of robotics.
