Abstract

This paper introduces a wireless acoustic emission measurement system. The system was constructed and measurements were carried out in a laboratory environment. The platform was tested in bearing condition monitoring measurements. The results showed that this wireless application for acoustic emission measurements has potential for bearing condition monitoring. This paper also introduces a synchronous multi-node radio network system, and some of the suitable energy and performance optimization methods used in wireless sensor network applications are proposed.
