    Abstract

This paper concentrates in a challenge of implementing new mobile field service applications, so that the applications can be integrated into the existing industrial document production processes. The solution described here uses standard based data exchange between document production, maintenance management system and mobile applications. A method for integrating maintenance manuals production and maintenance work order management using standard maintenance data models is described. The results are applied in the prototype application where the information is utilised in mobile terminal used by the field service technician.
