    Abstract

Performance evaluation plays a critical role in the optimisation and validation of integrated application domain specific multiprocessor systems. In this paper we describe a high level modelling approach for the modelling of a two processor mobile multimedia system and the modelling of use case workloads based on the combined data from separate measurements. The simulations reveal what the utilisation of the architecture would be in the combined cases. The average error of the simulation results compared to the monitored results in the use cases was less than 5%.
